Rue de Chaux is one of the lesser known Premier Cru sites in Nuits-Saint-George, one of more northerly southern Premier Cru vineyards and offers fantastic concentration of fruit and good structure.

Gilles Remoriquet is not a winemaker who rests on his laurels, forever looking for ways to improve his wines. Most recently he has been to the Jura to see a specialist about selecting the right blend of manure and has bought a second sorting table which eliminates under-ripe berries by flotation. The attention to detail flows right the way through from his vineyards to the winery.
